Something I see many people struggle with is taking breaks. One of the downsides of doing a PhD is that you will always have something to do until the moment you submit your thesis. Reading, writing, collecting and analyzing data, the work is non-stop. But as humans, we aren’t designed to work non-stop, so don’t try to do so. Take a day off. Take a weekend off. Take a week off. If you feel drained or burned out, take a step back, recharge, and come back stronger. It’s important to look after yourself, both physically and mentally.
